FALCONRY IS HERE
We are always striving to improve the facilities and attractions here at the Sanctuary, as part of this continuous process we were delighted to offer visitors the chance to fly our birds and enjoy a falconry experience.
To complement our usual guided tours and close encounters, we can also now offer three flying displays a day.
In conjunction with this programme we are now able to offer falconry courses and handling days at very competitive rates.

The course will be facilitated by our falconer Mark Whittaker and other qualified staff members.
During practical sessions course participants will be split into small groups and be assisted by staff members, and printed handouts will be supplied for most areas of this course.
During each morning and afternoon a 15 minutes coffee break will be given and drinks provided, and a snack menu will be available at the start of each day for anyone wishing to order lunch from the tea-room, for those bringing a packed lunch this may also be eaten in the tea-room building.
The 3 Day course costs £225 and a deposit of £30 per candidate is required on booking, a discount of 10% will be given when there is more than one person making a booking together.
